this might differ from subclasses, just tried it on my life cleric just to see what it does and after failing 16 times straight: u get a friednly divine summon (im guessing future aasimar model) and he deals 2d6+7 piercing with his mace (the attack button is a fist) and 5d8 radiant and that's it. i hoped it would give u some spell sellection or something cool, this is supposed to be the cleric's strongest feature...

More details about Divine Intervention since they're sparse on the actual page. A successful divine intervention summons a Divine Avatar (CR:16) with 184 health, an AC of 18. The creature is conjured for 1 minute and is under your control for the duration. It uses a Mace (+12) to hit that does 2d6+7 Piercing damage as well as 5d8 radiant.

Did you even play the game? Every time I've had it successfully work it just summons a dude that punches for piercing and radiant damage.
Not sure if the spells are different based on which deity/cleric type you are, but with my Life Cleric, the Divine Avatar's spells available were: Daylight, Haste, Mass Healing Word, Wall of Fire, and I think Revivify and/or Raise Dead. It could also smack people with its fist for the damage stated by prior folks.
