Skills in Solasta: Crown of the Magister are talents that determine how proficient your character is at performing and passing different tasks. Skills are usually categorized into two groups, active and passive. Active Skills are usually used during exploration or in battle, while passive skills are additional buffs or effects that are added to the player or party's different stats, all skills roll a 20 sided dice. Athletics

Athletics is a Strength Skill that determines how well you can climbing, jumping, or swimming.

Acrobatics

A Dexterity skill that covers your attempt to stay on your feet in a tricky situation.

Sleight of Hand

Execute a Dexterity skill check that whenever you attempt an act of legerdemain or manual trickery such as pickpocketing.

 

Stealth

Stealth is a Dexterity skill that determines how fast the detection gauge fils up when sneaking around enemies.

Arcana

This skill is an Intelligence check that measures your ability to recall lore about spells.

History

This skill is an Intelligence check that measures your ability to recall lore about historical events, legendary people, ancient kingdoms, past disputes, recent wars, and lost civilizations.

 

Investigation

The investigation skill is an Intelligence skill that focuses on looking for clues and make deductions based on those clues.

Nature

Your Intelligence check measures your ability to recall lore about terrain, plants and animals, the weather, and natural cycles.

Religion

This skill is an Intelligence check that measures your ability to recall lore about deities, rites and prayers, religious hierarchies, holy symbols, and the practices of secret cults.

 

Animal Handling

Animal Handling is a Wisdom skill that revolves around empathy and knowledge against domesticated animals.

Insight

Your Wisdom check decides whether you can determine the true intentions of a creature, such as when searching out a lie or predicting someone's next move.

Medicine

Medicine determines the knowledge of diagnosing illness, crafting healing potions, and experience on stabilizing dying allies.

 

Perception

A Wisdom skill that measures your general awareness of your surroundings and the keenness of your senses.

Survival

The Survival skill determines your proficiency when it comes to tracking, hunting, and guiding your group towards maneuvering around the wild.

Deception

Deception is a Charisma skill that determines your proficiency in manipulating the truth through words or actions, allowing you to mislead people.

 

Intimidation

A Charisma skill that determines how you can influence others through overt threats, hostile actions, and physical violence.

Performance

Performance is a Charisma skill that determines how well you can delight an audience with music, dance, acting, storytelling, or some other form of entertainment.

Persuasion

This skill revolves around Charisma and determines your proficiency to influence someone or a group of people with tact, social graces, or good nature.
