Saving Throws in Solasta: Crown of the Magister are talents that determine how proficient a character is at resisting different threats. All Saving Throws roll a 20 sided dice. Like Skills, most Saving Throws gain bonuses from corresponding Attributes, and a character can be Proficient with them. Saving Throws are also similar to passive Skills in the sense that characters don't normally decide to make a Saving Throw; they are forced to make one because of being at risk of harm. Solasta Saving Throws

 

Strength Saving Throw

Strength Saving Throw is a check based on Strength that determines how well a character can oppose a force that would physically move or bind them.

Dexterity Saving Throw

Dexterity Saving Throw is a check based on Dexterity that determines how well a character can dodge out of harm's way.

Constitution Saving Throw

Constitution Saving Throw is a check based on Constitution that determines how well a character can endure a disease, poison, or other hazards that saps vitality.

 

Intelligence Saving Throw

Intelligence Saving Throw is a check based on Intelligence that determines a character's ability to disbelieve certain illusions and resist mental assaults that can be refuted with logic, sharp memory, or both.

Wisdom Saving Throw

Wisdom Saving Throw is a check based on Wisdom that determines how well a character can resist effects that charm, frighten, or otherwise assault willpower.

Charisma Saving Throw

Charisma Saving Throw is a check based on Charisma that determines how well a character can withstand effects, such as possession, that would subsume their personality or hurl them to another plane of existence.

 

Death Saving Throw

Death Saving Throw is a special check that determines whether a character creeps closer to death or hangs onto life.
