Subclass Features

♦ Level 3
Open Hand Technique

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate your enemy's ki when you harness your own. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
  • It can't take reactions until the end of your next turn.

Wholeness of Body

At 6th level, you gain the ability to heal yourself. As an action, you can regain hit points equal to three times your monk level. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.

♦ Level 11
Tranquility

At 11th level, when you are about to be hit by an attack or single target spell, you can spend one Ki point to gain the benefits of the spell Shield.

Way of the Open Hand is a Subclass from the Inner Strength DLC in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Way of the Open Hand is a subclass of the Monk Class. A character's class is their profession and grants specific features as listed. New powers, and access to subclasses, are granted at a higher level of experience. Each class also gives you a set of equipment that you can customize.

 

Monks of the Way of the Open Hand are the ultimate masters of martial arts combat, whether armed or unarmed. They throw or trip heir opponents, using the mystical force of Ki to protect and heal themselves.

Level 3
