The Lost Apprentice is a Secondary Quest from the Lost Valley DLC in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. Completing a quest also grants various rewards that can aid the player throughout their journey. This is a Faction Quest from the Dominion. Completing this quest will increase your relationship with The Dominion.

The Lost Apprentice Walkthrough
Complete the quest The Head Collector Caer Hyfryd. He will then give you The Lost Apprentice. He wants you to collect 4 different heads.
Meet with Orenetis
Return to the Palace in Caer Hyfryd and speak with Orenetis. This will reveal the next objective.
Go to the Swamp
If this location wasn't previously unlocked, the Swamp (Location) will appear west of Caer Hyfryd. Your arrival will complete the objective. If the entrance is available, take the East Path Entrance which will take you directly into the orc camp.
Find the Apprentice
If you are entering through the south path or Forge camp, you will want to make your way to the east side of the swamp where the Ruined Temple location is. This will begin a battle against a number of Orcs. This will include a Berserker, Shaman Archer and Grimblade. If you approach the camp through the main set of doors, the battle should begin once you enter. This area will also be marked on your map as a the Ruined Fort Waypoint. Keep an eye on your positioning since this is a walled area. Use the pillars in the center of the arena to adjust your positioning aginst any ranged attackers. Focus your attacks on the Shaman while prioritizing clearing those within close range of the party.
Once you get past all the Orcs in the area, there is a cell at the southeast corner. Loot the area and approach the area with caution to reveal any traps. If you try to interact with the cell gate, the door cannot be opened and the Knock spell will not work here. Continue past him and there will be another corner with a chest just southwest of the cell. If you click on the platform, your adventurers will make your way here. This will contain the key. Take the key back to the cell to open it and speak to the captive to complete the objective.
Return to Orenetis
You may now exit the area and return to Orenetis in Caer Hyfryd. This will complete the quest.
How to obtain The Lost Apprentice
- Purchase and download the Lost Valley DLC in order to be able to access this quest. Complete The Head Collector in order to activate this quest.
