The Dryad Queen is a Secondary Quest from the Lost Valley DLC in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. Completing a quest also grants various rewards that can aid the player throughout their journey. This is a Faction quest for the Forge. Completing this quest will increase your relationship with The Forge.

Complete The Swamp Base to begin the quest.
Talk to Hasdrubal
Speak to Hasdrubal. He will be at the Forge Camp within the Swamp. He will say that if you sleep under the millennium tree, the dryad queen will appear, and he points you to head east.
Find the Giant Tree
Head east. You will be making your way from the platforms at the Swamp Entrance. You will need to hop over some rocks towards the southeast edge of the camp. Take the dock platforms and continue east from the River Way Point. Once you reach a run-down fortress there will be a set of stone arches.
You will need to break through the growth to reach the next area where there will be a number of wooden pillars that can be knocked down to clear the way and create the path. Breaking the blockage will reveal the whole area. This area should also have a green tint to it that will indicate that you are heading in the right direction.
Go to each of the pillars and knock each of them down and cross the eastern pillar that also fell east. This will trigger a battleagainstt a number of Flying Tiger Drakes and a Brimstone Drake. Use your ranged attacks while they are at a distance and as they approach switch to your melee attacks. Try to position youradventurerss so that they can have a clear view ofthee Drakes to give them an opportunity to attack.
When they start to bunch together, deal an attack spell with an AoE to maximize damage. Clear them one a time till you achieve the victory... Then you are cleared to push the last few pillars down in order to cross north. This will take you to the Giant Tree. This will also unlock this location as a waypoint.
Provoke the Dryad Queen
Interact with the unlit campfire at the base of the tree to begin battle. Position your adventurers and look out for the dryads that will be approaching from the shadows. Use your long ranged spells and take your adventures to each corner of the area in front of the tree. A notable feature of the Dryads once you face them is their ability to increase their AC with Barkskin. Continue to knock them down and clear them through each round while also facing the queen. Watch out for her large AoE attack that will affect a large area and will force you to reposition in order to reduce damage. Some other negative effects of this attack is blindness that will prevent some actions.
Try to clear the Dryad queen and once the battle is over, you can obtain the Dryad Queen's Head.
Report the Dryad Queen's Death
When everything in this area is done, you can return to the Forge camp and speak to Hasdrubal. You will be given the option to sell the head to him which will also increase your relations with the Forge and unlocks additional Crafting options. Choose to keep the head and you will be able to to use this for another Dominion quest, The Head Collector.
If you choose to align with the Forge and are keen to sell the head, select the option and this will end the quest.
How to obtain The Dryad Queen
- This quest can be activated after purchasing and downloading the Lost Valley DLC then completing The Swamp Base quest from Telerien Purevoice's questline.
