The Dominion Strikes Back is a Secondary Quest from the Lost Valley DLC in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. Completing a quest also grants various rewards that can aid the player throughout their journey. This is a Faction Quest from The Rebellion. Completing this quest will increase your relationship with The Rebellion.

The Dominion Strikes Back Walkthrough

Complete The Rebellion Rises to activate this quest. This quest begins immediately after the completion of The Rebellion Rises,

 

Choice: Defend or Flee!

You will have a choice to defend the HQ or flee the area. This will greatly affect your relations standing. To further improve your Rebellion relations, stay and defend the headquarters. 

 

United against Tyranny

Defend: Make your way back to the Crossroads of the Rebellion HQ to reach the entrance area. Approaching the center platforms will trigger the battle so make sure you have rested and have recently saved your game. You will be facing Malariel Brogarad, and a number of Dominion Soldiers, Archers, and Arcanists. This will be like clearing the outposts but on a different battlefield with additional help. Ellaria Anfarel can be used to deal x3 attacks with her weapon and can deal up to x6 attack sequences if she uses her action surge that allows her to take the turn again. Use her to advance against Malariel Brogarad. If available, deploy your summons early on in battle. Use your ranged attacks to clear those closer to you. Beware of the traps that are still in the area when you reposition your characters. Clear the battle to complete the quest.

  • This quests can be activated after purchasing and downloading the Lost Valley DLC. Progress in The Rebellion Faction questline to activate this quest.
