The Butcher is a Secondary Quest in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. Completing a quest also grants various rewards that can aid the player throughout their journey. This is a Faction Quest from The People. Completing this quest will increase your relationship with The People.

The Butcher Walkthrough
In the City, speak to Rose Fairwind to begin the quest.
Ask the Butcher about Marin Ving
A short distance from the entrance is the Market where you will find Henrik Redhand, the Butcher. You will have the option to ask about Marin Ving. He will then request for some rare meats.
Hunt Badlands Bears
With the new location unlocked, you will need to travel to the Hunting Grounds and go hunting for some bears. Open the map to reveal the new location and travel there. Upon arrival, you can start to follow the natural path. It won't take long before a few bears will engage with you in a battle. If you zoom out in the location you may be able to spot a few Badlands Bears in the area. Approach them and activate the battle.
You can begin the battle by using your ranged attacks while the bears are at a distance. They will likely take their move to close the gap in so prepare for the incoming melee attacks. At this point you may also deal a number of melee attacks. Continue to strike and attack the bears within range with your regular melee attacks.This will eventually clear them. Loot them for their meat. Once you have enough collected the Badlands bear meat, your objective will be complete.
Take the Meat to Henrik
To complete the quest, travel back to The City with the meat and speak to Henrik Redhand.
How to obtain The Butcher
- Purchase and download the Lost Valley DLC in order to be able to access this quest. Progress till the Escape the Lost Valley main storyline quest and reach the City. Speak to Rose Fairwind to activate this quest.
