The Arena is a Secondary Quest in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. Completing a quest also grants various rewards that can aid the player throughout their journey.

The Arena Walkthrough
Head south upon reaching the glowing gates in the Shed at the Lava Forest. You'll eventually come across the Arena and trigger the secondary quest during the Gem Quest: The Mind of the Master.
Round 1- Defeat Your Opponent
Entering the Arena will also trigger a series of battle sequences. Be prepared for them. The first round will be against a few Goblin Cutthroats and Direwolves.
Get ready for the next battle
After clearing the first combat, there will be a few seconds to pause before the next battle begins.
Round 2- Defeat Your Opponent
The second round, you will be up against some Ghouls, Skeletal Sorcerers, Skeletal Knights, Spectral Avenger and a Badlands Ghast.
Round 3- Defeat Your Opponent
Round 3 contains Winter Wolves, Orc Chieftain, Ogre Zombie, Orc Berserker, Orc Archer, Orc Grimblade and an Orc Shaman. Eventually, you will also go against a Fire Jester.
Round 4- Defeat Your Opponent
Round four enemies will include Tiger Drakes, a Minotaur, Fire Osprey, Phase Spider, Crimson Spider, Zealot
When you have completed the fourth round, leave the arena to complete the quest
