Sleep is a Spell in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Sleep is a Level 1 Spell. Spells can be cast by any Class that has Spellcasting, but not all Classes can cast every Spell. Spells in 5e DnD cost Spell Slots in order to use, and you must have an unused Spell Slot of the matching Level in order to cast this Spell. Many lower-level Spells can be cast using higher-level Spell Slots with increased benefits.

      Even in the wiki it doesn't say that the base amount of dice roll to determine the hp pool is 5d8. Nor does it say that it will start with the lowest health unit and work up to the next until it can't sleep the next one. It would be so easy for them to actually describe what these spells do. They are already in the flipping DnD handbook, you don't even have to come up with the descriptions, just copy and paste.
