Honor Your Masters is a Secondary Quest in Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. Completing a quest also grants various rewards that can aid the player throughout their journey.
Honor Your Masters Objectives
SPEAK TO ANNIE
- Annie Bagmordah left a message for you. You need to come and see her about some personal matters.
SPEAK WITH MASTER DACKIN
- >Master Dackin of the Guild of Antiquarians wants to talk to a party member who is a former student of his. Go to Sunblaze Court and find him.
GO TO CAER LEM
- You have joined Master Dackin and are ready to explore the tower.
Objective 4
- SPEAK WITH MASTER DACKIN
- You met with Master Dackin. He wants you to help restore his career by supporting an expedition to Caer Lem and exploring the Tirmarian Tower.
Objective 5
- ENTER THE TOWER
- Enter the tower with Master Dackin. If you reach it, you'll be able to drop a rope for the others to climb. To get there, however, you might need to fly or something.
Objective 6
- EXPLORE THE TOWER
- Search the old tower for antiquities that could help restore the Antiquarians' trust in Master Dackin.

SPEAK TO ANNIE
- Find Annie Bagmordah and speak to her.
SPEAK WITH MASTER DACKIN
- Find Master Dackin at Sunblaze Court and speak with him. He will ask you to support him on a journey to the Marches in Caer Lem in order to explore an old Tirmarian Tower, in hopes of discoveies that could advance his career.
GO TO CAER LEM
- Fast travel to Caer Lem and head to the Tirmarian Tower in the Marches.
SPEAK WITH MASTER DACKIN
- Find Master Dackin there and speak with him again. He points out that there is a minor Gate at the courtyard worth inspecting.
ENTER THE TOWER
- Use a fly spell to reach the Tirmarian Tower. If not already in possession of a fly Spell, purchase a Scroll of Fly from Mogo the Poor at Caer Lem.
- Fly up the ledge, then drop the rope for others to climb up with you. Enter the tower together.
EXPLORE THE TOWER
- Jump onto the crate at the back to climb up the ledge.
- Stay on the ledge and jump past gaps to circle back to the front
- Pick up loots on the floor near the fallen wooden door in the area on the right after jumping down the big rock
- Continue ahead until you reach another crate
- Simply ignore the crate, and break the barrier on the right to enter through a secret passage
ACCESS THE LIBRARY
- Enter into the library, and ignite all torches around the area using the Sparkle Spell or any other means.
- Move forward and defeat the Skeletons, Skeletal Enforcers, and Skeletal Sorcerers
- Continue to advance onwards and collect loots on the way. Proceed to the next area via the corner on the right at the front.
- Interact with the stack of ancient books to complete the quest.
How to obtain Honor Your Masters
- The quest is unlocked after exploring the Tower of Magic.

Fly is not necessary. A combination of Levitate and misty step will also do the trick.

I've killed all the skeletons, but can't access the big bookcase at the back of the hall. There is no path to it. Have I missed something?
I can't take a long rest to restore my spells (I have Levitate, but not Misty Step), as there is no campfire without returning to the fort, where I would need another fly spell to re-enter, and I don't have the 750 for the scroll.
I'm not even sure how I can abandon the quest. I don't want to drag Mackin around until I have the resources to retry.
